Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) launched the MCF fast badges feature, which allows you to display fast delivery dates on the product detail pages of your ecommerce website and on your Google product listings ads. This can help you increase traffic, conversion, and sales by showcasing MCF’s fast delivery speeds to shoppers early on in their journey.

Learn how NXTRND, a sports apparel company that uses MCF, saw a nearly 9% increase in shopper conversion and sales on their site after adding the MCF fast badges feature to their site.

The MCF fast badges feature is available for sellers who use the MCF app for Shopify, WebBee, NeverSettle, the MCF API, or Google for advertising.

In this article, we provide step-by-step instructions on how to enable MCF fast badges on your ecommerce site and ads.

To enable MCF fast badges, you can choose from the following five methods:

Method 1: Using Amazon MCF app for Shopify

  1. Sign in to Shopify admin, and then navigate to your store.
  2. In the Search field, click the Apps filter, and then enter “Amazon MCF.” For more information, go to MCF App for Shopify User Guide and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) App for Shopify Demo.
  3. Click Amazon MCF app for Shopify to navigate to the app page of Amazon Seller Central, and then sign in.
  4. On the side menu, click Settings, and then on the MCF Fast Badges tab, start your customizations.
  5. Click Customize widget to open Shopify’s theme editor, and then add MCF Fast Badges to your product pages.
  6. Open the Product information menu within Shopify’s theme editor, go to Template, and then click Add block.
  7. On the Add block menu, click or search for MCF Fast Badges app block.
  8. Customize the app block by modifying the settings in the MCF Fast Badges App Block menu, and then click Save.
Note: Customizations include text color, font, alignment, padding, and margin. By default, the block appears at the bottom of the page, but you can move it to a different location.
Best practice: Place the app block below the Add to cart button so that MCF Fast Badges is more visible to shoppers and can help increase conversions.
  9. Verify the MCF Fast Badges app block on product detail pages:
    1. After you’ve saved your customizations, open a product page. By default, the product page displays a delivery estimate based on the ZIP code.
    2. Update the ZIP code, and then click Submit to save the change and generate a delivery date estimate based on the updated location.

Method 2: Using Amazon MCF by WebBee App for Shopify

Amazon MCF by WebBee Shopify app offers a no-code solution to integrate with MCF Fast Badges.

  1. Install the Amazon MCF by WebBee Shopify app, and then complete the onboarding steps, including linking Seller Central and mapping SKUs.
  2. Go to the sales channels and open the online store within your Shopify Admin account.
  3. To open the customization page, go to Themes, and then click customize.
  4. On the Home Page menu, click Product.
  5. On the side menu, click Add Block, and then go to Apps.
  6. Select the Custom Input Form for Amazon MCF by WebBee. A new block appears on the product page.
  7. Drag and drop the MCF Fast Badges widget under Add to cart button for easy reference for shopper.
  8. To apply your changes and go back to the store, click Save.
  9. To open a front-end page on the Shopify site, in Themes, click Preview.
  10. Select a featured product. Customers can check the estimated delivery time before purchasing the product by entering a ZIP code.
  11. Try different ZIP codes to review the delivery estimates for each one.
Note: You can change the position of this feature under the theme settings to better integrate it with your store layout.
  12. Return to the product page, and verify that the delivery estimate appears.

Method 3: Using NeverSettle Extension for WooCommerce

The Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) for WooCommerce extension settings page displays the option Enable MCF Fast Badges for products that are set to Send with Amazon.

  1. Visitors are presented with a text prompt to add US ZIP code on the Product SKU page. After adding the required information, a delivery date estimate appears.
  2. To change the delivery ZIP code, update and then apply the change on the Product SKU page.

Note: The delivery estimate only appears if the product is in stock and located in your Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) Inventory.

Method 4: Using selling partner APIs

First, set up a selling partner-API integration within Seller Central to access MCF (Fulfillment Outbound) APIs using the following steps.

  1. Sign in using your Seller Central or MCF account, and then select the marketplace.
  2. To create a developer profile, on the side menu, navigate to Apps, Services, and then Develop Apps.
  3. Provide your contact information, and then set the following options:
    1. Private developer: I build application(s) that integrate my own company with Amazon Services APIs.
    2. Organization developer ID (if applicable).
    3. Roles should include [Product Listing, Amazon Fulfilment, Inventory and Order Tracking]. There’s no need to select any restricted roles for MCF.

Note: The profile approval might take 1-3 business days to process.

  4. Answer the Use Case and Security Control questions on the form.
  5. Click Register to submit your private developer profile for approval.
  6. To create a private app, after the profile is approved, go to the Developer Central page in Seller Central, and then click +Add new app client.
  7. When prompted, input the app name and API type, and then select the following roles [Product Listing, Amazon Fulfilment, Inventory and Order Tracking].
  8. Click Save and Exit.
  9. After the app is created, click the drop-down arrow on Edit app, and then click Authorize.
  10. To obtain Amazon sign in credentials, with a refresh token, click Authorize the app.
  11. Using the client credentials and refresh token, extract the access token from SP-API <OAuth> endpoint.
  12. Use the access token to call <Production> and <Sandbox> endpoints.
Note: Only the outbound interface sandbox responds with dynamic responses. Others, including for listings, inbound, and inventory interfaces, respond with static responses. Merchants and developers can create and update product listings in Seller Central by calling the Listings API, and inbound product inventory using the Seller Central UI or by calling the inbound interface.
